VEFRY VERY ACCURATE THANK YOU
unpopular almoons opinion: i know i've stated this before but i genuinely don't think jalix would be a great ship?
like consider it from a different standpoint
jared, with his obsessions and daydreams over calix, is putting him onto a metaphorical pedestal and making him into something he's not, thus making calix feel pretty uncomfortable and it'll make him push jared away and view jared as an annoyance.
however, if jared let himself stop daydreaming for one moons-damned minute, maybe he could see who calix really is and unlock his backstory and they can get closer.
(for some reason i have this one idea that calix would just sorta be keeping guard at night and then jared wakes up and they talk and calix shares about the maxi culture? and instead of jared being like "omg that's so hot" he just listens and yes character development)
so, to sum it up, jalix might not be a great ship on it's own until they actively try to improve it.
interesting opinion based on a single chapter, hm.
