The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction sums up “Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn” (1983) better than I ever could:
“More Science Fantasy than sf, this 3-D exploitation movie, set in a tribalized future wasteland, is notable for the absence of metalstorms and the fact that the totalitarian wizard Jared-Syn is not destroyed.”
Pure 1980s schlock.

Ouch, never noticed this before until i made a gif of it. Yeah... i think that dude broke his arm, and possibly his leg as well. The other guy is pretty lucky too as the dude who’s arm is clipped pushes him ‘out of the way’.
