Safe Place (Lyrics)

This place, filled with people and pain. Colours everywhere its anything but plain, backdrops of rainbows, buildings so high. Violence so real, and desires to die.

Sour aroma, it dirties the air. Winced faces, can be seen everywhere. The outside is yellow but the inside is grey, splashes of red when the inmates play.

Through these bars, so much time has passed. First impressions, they say they last. Crossfaded colours peculiar to see. Why am I here? Why did he want me?

He’s standing there, so proud and so tall a hollow man with no sanity at all. Man seen of colour, a man seen of control. Oh I see; his shrill heart of coal.
