((As you can see, Carapace is really getting into the spirit of the holiday! Not only has she put herself into a giant snowglobe (Which appears to have been recently shaken) but she’s even swapped out parts of her cybernetics for festive Christmas (Or, Hearthswarming, since they live in Equestria) lights! ((So, today is my birthday! I originally intended to include more characters than just Pinkie Pie in this picture, but I put it off too long and it became apparent that that plan was being a -liiiiiiiitle- overambitious. Still, I think this came out pretty well.))

Twilight: Carapace decided to build it for me after reading your ask and... I have to say, it’s -gorgeous-. Apparently, I’m meant to go in that transparent bit in its chest.

Carapace: It allows for better protection and the unused space in her head can be put to other purposes. Like making popcorn.
