The Cribs are my third favorite band and they are pretty famous for releasing gems as B-sides and what not but holy cow this is some good stuff. Probably sounds pretty lame but something about this song kinda resonates with me. Y’all should give it a listen

#TBT // THROW BACK THURSDAY // THE CRIBS
The Cribs recently made all of the films documenting the making of their albums available for free on YouTube. Previously only available on special editions of each album, these videos offer a fascinating insight into the Jarman brother's lives, writing and recording processes and life on the road.
For us The Cribs have been one of the most important and vital British guitar bands around since the millennium; consistently brilliant and un-apologetically stuck to their guns. We're dead excited for the 2015 album and tour, if a little disappointed that they're no longer on Wichita Recordings - another firm favourite of the last decade.
Feast!
Top 5 cribs b sides
It is ridiculous the amount of time I have spent thinking about this list, probably spent more time on this then important pieces of work. 5) kind words from the broken hearted It's a great a song, and easily could have featured on an album, let's face it, most of their b sides could. The lyrics stand up to most of the cribs songs, and the breakdown is special. 4) I'm still blaming you Probably the one that will get the most raised eyebrows, but it's stuck in my mind. Adore the way it was recorded, and how underproduced it is, not glamorous but memorable. 3) North of England Excellent b side, just how a b side should be, loud, angsty and in your face. It's a song that you can thrash around to, and shout and stomp to. 2) To Jackson Slightly different to The Cribs style as it slow and relatively mellow, but that is what makes this b side stand out so much. Even the riff seems to sing to you. 1) You're gonna lose us Possibly the most obvious one, but everytime it's on and alchol has been consumed, I automatically assume that I'm at a gig and have to jump around. It was hard making this list, love to know people's opinions.
