Rewatching Avatar during quarantine inspired me to revamp my old avatar ocs! This is Kasai (left) and Jarn Shyr (right), a couple of best friends who travel the world together! They were once part of an rp group I was in in middle school and were connected to that whole plot, but all you guys need to know about that to understand their characters is that the world during that session suppressed bending, kinda like Amon tried to do in LoK but at a global scale 😉

Kasai is a firebender without training, and Jarn Shyr is a nonbender trained in all bending techniques. They have a mutually beneficial relationship at first: Jarn Shyr agrees to teach Kasai bending techniques and Kasai agrees to help Jarn Shyr find her missing father.

Jarn Shyr came from an isolated village that does not speak the common language of the world, so she doesn’t talk much if she can help it. Luckily, Kasai is a very adept people-reader (thanks to the help of some spirits that I vaguely remember 😅) and translates what he gleans from her body language to others.

Gosh it’s been so long since I thought about these two in their original forms 😂 they have a special place in my heart and I hope y’all like them too 🥺💞🥰
