Count was the first of Jaro to succumb to the power of sweets, soon gaining a craving for anything sugary that he could get his hands on. After being found out, he soon shared with Lock and then the rest of Jaro. He's also the one, outside of Tek's ability to summon cookies to the kitchen area, who has the best connections for candy.
★ Count
He wants to get at least two tattoos. The first being an old-style cannonball with a lit fuse. The second being "Jaro" between his shoulder blades. Anything to show his dedication to his brothers.
Neither are happening just yet.
★ Tek
When Tek sleeps, he's curled up in a fetal position for no other reason than comforting himself. Of course, should he be sleeping with someone else, he curls up to a much lesser extent, either holding the other person or being held.
★ Tek
Tek has an insatiable craving for salty foods to balance out the sweets. Per his dietary requirements, sadly, he doesn't have a chance to indulge in them often.
Lets round out the Jaro squad and pilot bro postings you started.
★Aran: He prefers to keep his gloves on unless not feasible. He would rather the laceration scars on his hands are not noticed and asked about.★Aran: He would be a happy camper if he never had to set foot in a LAAT again. He will always opt for ground transport if its an available option.★Lock: Despite the fact the creatures were used against his squad during a smuggling shut-down mission, he finds Akk Dogs to be admirable in their ferocity. And he thinks they just plain look cool. He hopes to soon have enough downtime to get the Akk Dog tattoo on his arm finished.★Diesel: Gossip isn’t the only thing this pilot is always on the look out for. He greatly enjoys listening to and telling stories. Be ready for purple prose once you get him started on regaling his piloting adventures.
His banter back and forth with Lock keeps him sane and keeps his mind off the negative aspects of their lives. But he is completely serious about making art from exploding droids, Lock. Completely. Serious.
★ Count:
He would give anything for time in a pool so he can do cannon balls.
★ Count:
Count won't talk about what his scariest explosive close encounter was and respectfully asked the rest of Jaro to not bring it up again. He doesn't even recall the exact details because of the concussion that was given to him but he was extremely lucky to escape with his limbs intact.
Tek still blames himself for the loss of Patch, the squad's former medic. There's not a day that goes by without him having just the briefest of relapses before Lock, Count or, eventually, Aran come and help pull him back.
★ Tek
Don't let him fool you but he'll hack into other soldiers'...or civilians'...music collections to see their tastes. He just does it discretely.
★ Tek
He's absolutely not above pranks but generally lets Count and Lock take care of those.
Scar on the side of his right knee from shrapnel ripping the exposed undersuit.
Thin scars on his hands from lacerations incurred trying to break into a damaged LAAT/i cockpit.
Skills:
Combat medic trained to provide first aid and trauma care for injuries sustained in the field.
Personality:
Displaced into a new squad, he has emotionally withdrawn and presents a gruff personality that is quick to become annoyed. He is straight forward with what he wants and shows little tolerance for what he deems as nonsense. This is especially true while on mission.
ex: An overabundance of comm chatter from Count and Lock will typically be met with a bark for them to knock it off.
The trauma of surviving the LAAT/i wreck which killed or fatally wounded his pod mates has had a lasting impact. Panic attacks have resulted from the trigger of fire from anti-air canons.
He enjoys the distraction of reading whenever downtime affords him the opportunity.
A battered datapad with a random assortment of sliced literature is a prized possession and the only tangible reminder of his pod.
RC-0110, Tek
Role:
Slicer, former lead
Physical Traits:
Height: 6’ 0” (1.86m)
Weight: 190lbs
Hair Color: Black
Hair Style: Standard-issue cut
Eye Color: Brown
Scar on the right side of his upper chest from an accident during training when a vibroblade sliced him.
Tattoo on his left shoulder blade in the shape of a standard bacta patch (3”x5”) in memory of Patch that he had done when the others were sleeping
Skills:
Quick, efficient slicing
Frequently finds more information than requested to benefit the current or future missions.
Praised for leadership role
Was demoted from sergeant upon the introduction of Aran, no explanation given
Proficient in hand-to-hand combat, always makes sure to wield a blade of some kind
Sticks with the stock DC-17m and leaves the specialty gear to his brothers
Personality:
Overall friendly to those around him as long as they are Republic-affiliated.
Untrusting of any droid regardless of affiliation due to the mission that took Patch’s life
More often than not, open to chatter on the comm as it maintains his knowledge of his brothers being alive and with him still.
Not afraid to scold when the chatter goes too far or is continued into situations when it’s not appropriate.
Determined to make sure his brothers make it out of a mission alive even if it means sacrificing himself
Questions orders from command often when they don’t match how he perceives the mission to be going. Not always directly to them but at least to himself and the squad.
Treats his squad with the care he believes they deserve, even going so far as to arrange for a shipment of sweets to be delivered bi-weekly, paying off those who need to keep it quiet in said sweets.
RC-0115, Lock
Role:
Sniper
Physical Traits:
Height: 6’ 0” (1.86m)
Weight: 189lbs
Hair Color: Black
Hair Style: Shorter take on the standard-issue cut
Eye Color: Brown
Unfinished tattoo on his right arm of a stylized Akk Dog that spans from bicep to wrist. A majority of the detailing is missing as Jaro has not been afforded enough free time for it to be completed.
Usually sports some degree of facial hair ranging from stubble to a heavy shadow. A stern eye from Tek or a marked increase in scruffy jokes from Count is typically what spurs him into shaving.
Skills:
Highly skilled with a sniper rifle, he takes great pride in his accuracy and track record.
Personality:
If Count is around, Lock is nearby and more likely than not engaged in banter with him.
Enjoys showing off with trick shooting with this DC-15s pistol.
Prone to daredevil behavior as a well-intended means to achieve goals.
o While so far successful, it has landed him with the likes of dislocations and wrecked speeders.
Partakes in what he and Count jokingly refer to as battlefield art.
o As missions progressed, Lock found amusement in using his sniping assignments to make abstract designs out of felled droid targets when the situation allowed for it. He has sometimes goaded Count into participating, insisting that scorch marks really do add to the overall look of a piece.
RC-1991, Count
Role:
Demolitions
Physical Traits:
Height: 6’ 0” (1.86m)
Weight: 180lbs
Hair Color: Black
Hair Style: Shaved
Eye Color: Brown
Tattoo trailing up his right arm of a long fuse, starting (ignited) just below his wrist and stopping just below his shoulder blade on his back, a thermal detonator sitting underneath it. Has a second tattoo on his left hip of an exploding bomb, half cut-off by his waist, partially pressured by Lock.
Skills:
Known for his demolition skills. “High precision, minimum collateral damage.”
Count’s skills aren’t limited to precision demolition, however. If something needs to be destroyed and bring down as much of the resources around them, he can easily take care of that.
His shooting isn’t as sharp as the others (while quite accurate) and he’s particularly jealous of Lock and his ability to nail a target from any distance.
Personality:
Count is Lock’s counterpart. There is a great deal of bickering and banter between these two and as such, they are practically inseparable.
Just like the others, Count holds a particular bitterness towards droids. He often mutters about strapping a bomb to a droid’s back and sending him towards the rest of its group.
