Writing a short story for a competition: Man I’m on a fucking rol- Wait whats my word count? *Checks word count*....fuck!
Super late update, butttttttt. I PRESENT MY HALLOWEEN COSTUME!!!! I had wayyy too much fun with this costume. I might do something with the mask again next year maybe spend a little bit of money and make this look even cooler. Anyway I’ve been doing some writing(not as much as I would like to but better than nothing) i’ll hopefully have an update soon on the things i’m working maybe introduce a few more characters from my endless army. We’ll see I’m trying to update more often, but this is it for now.
Here’s a little snippet of something new I’m working on.
“So far I am on board, however, I do have a few questions.”
“Well feel free to ask. What do you wish to know?”
“Firstly what exactly are you trying to accomplish? You talk sounds like you have a big plan or some semblance of an end goal.”
“Oh, that’s an easy question. Ultimately my end goal is to rule over the kingdom, and preferably watch it crumble to dust. Then rebuild it from the ashes. Maybe even expand things further than the kingdom depending if things turn out favorable.”
“Ok, but answer me this now. Why? Why do you want to do this? Is it all for the sake of chaos and destruction or do you have a reason for wanting to completely dismantle this realms society?”
I sit there for a few moments thinking about my answer carefully. My answer very well could be the deciding factor on whether she’ll align herself with me or not.
“My grandmother went missing under mysterious circumstances and at this point, I’m assuming she’s dead. She probably died protecting me, you and whatever other secrets she was hiding. Not only did I never hear anything about her case, but practically nothing was done about finding her or finding who had killed her. My point is this is not an isolated incident and not the only injustice I’ve heard about throughout the realm. Now am I some avenger, vigilante, or hero who’s going to bring justice to all who have been wrong? Fuck no! As far as I’m concerned this realm is kindling that I personally wish to set ablaze. So to answer your question a little bit of both.” I take a deep breath as my tirade ends, I wasn’t expecting that answer to be that intense.
“Well, that’s all I need to hear...I’m on board!”
The conversations between these two characters are the best so far. I’ll do a character breakdown of one or both of them at some point on here.
