Somehow the Blues have managed to make the Bruins look like the less evil step sisters (the one with a decent heart deep down) with how dirty they play. Not saying Bruins are angels themselves but they actually haven’t seemed to play dirty this playoffs and this series compared to the Blues. I can’t believe the Blues are making me feel this way about the Bruins. Congrats on such an accomplishment, Blues!

I feel like if the refs didn’t miss the obvious penalties on both of the blues goals, player safety would have let the Barbashev hit slide. But it’s just soooo frustrating to see that DoPS is actually paying attention and they just chose to be silent during the WCF

that’s exactly what they did w the blais headshot on braun in game 3. but I think it’s ridiculous that the department of player safety is trying to act like the ‘department of evening out calls.’ that’s not their job !! the outcome of a game should NEVER affect the implementation of player safety rules. headshots don’t do less damage bc they’re against a team that had a favorable call and it’s a joke that they operate like they do.
