I went to visit my parents and my mother was the only one home...I missed her and hoped she could give me advice on what I need to do...
Jasmine: Do…Do you really think this is a good idea?
Porcelain: It is in our society…
Jasmine: I hope they accept…
Porcelain: Me too my love
On this day, my parents became Mr. and Mrs. Winter.
Though her husband was treating her better through this pregnancy, her favorite moments would still be when her husband left because that meant she could see Alabaster and update him on her condition.
My mother always seemed to get mail in her new home. It was usually from her mother to see how she was doing and how well she was adjusting to marriage life…At first, mom would say there was nothing to complain but… she only said that so her mother wouldn’t worry
Before we can get to my story I would first have to tell my mother's story… My mother was a faux berry in an arranged marriage to a man named Porcelain Snow. She would often tell me that she had to learn to love him…But she also knew he despised her for not being a real raw.
For the duration of the pregnancy, Porcelain seemed to give mom the attention though she didn’t care and rightfully so. She finally found someone she truly loved and as much as she appreciated the attention for him it was too late to change how he was treating her. Besides, it wasn’t genuine love...this was only happening because mom was finally pregnant after months of trying.
The ceremony took place a month later in the same garden they proposed. My parents said their vows and this time the tears my mother shed would be tears of happiness. She had the life she wanted and a child with the man she truly loved she didn’t what else she could ever ask for.
