Largely consider myself retired from VJ'ing. What I do with #jasmineguffond I don't consider VJ'ing per se as it's not mixing. However when a good friend of mine @deepvisual invited me to join him for a set of #theorb at #gretchen there is no way I could turn it down. Was a short but sweet experience throwing some material together and mixing it up with a good friend and a few beers to smooth the gears. I great way to end the weekend. ROMANTIC LEGACY (available now as a #digitalrare on the #blockchain via @superrare.co) is a composition from several animations based upon physical ink on paper drawings. The animations were used for live video performances beginning circa 2008. In 2013 they were incorporated into a collaboration with the sound artist #JasmineGuffond for a track called RR variation, the RR standing for Romantic Revolution, the original name of the reworked music piece. As usual the visuals are designed after a long meditation on what the sounds of a track are saying to me.
