Hello weezer lore master. From your blog i have learned of rivers being homosexual for Matt and Mikey and have come to ask if the trend of being weird and gay with bassists extended to the other bassists (Scott, the first one whos name idr) or if rivers was just having a rebound moment

so the answer In theory should be no. scott's normal! he has a wife and 2 kids and was in the marine corps and got into weezer because rivers wanted somebody who just looked completely out of place and too cool to be in, well, WEEZER. but the actual answer is a lil complicated...

first of all scott is Fucking Scared of him

^ did you know since their album "everything will be alright in the end" in 2014 theyve recorded albums with the respective band members coming in individually and laying down the tracks solo and then they just put it all together at the end. no wonder weezer is bad now.

And also they're just doing gay shit on stage all the time rivers looooooves to rub up on scott like a cat in heat FOR NO REASON theres a lot of examples but heres the 2 i found the fastest

Jason left the band because his girlfriend got pregnant but um. eye twitch. that wasn't the only reason

rivers in 2024 talking about the decision to fire jason "between him and matt" (so pat who had been in the band longer than matt wasnt even getting consulted about this)

jason in 2019 talking about how matt FOR SOME REASON just DIDNT LIKE HIM and they were COMPETING FOR RIVERS' ATTENTION

and then after jason was fired rivers went into the studio and demanded ric ocasek (their producer) take ALL of jason's guitar parts on and he rerecorded them in one day and ric was like well autism be damned..........

oh yea and then in 2020 jason released a song about him its called rivers sing your song. and welll

anyway. so. yeah there's gay stuff with everybody. except brian. fuck brian bell's bitch ass

I find it weird that out of all of the Nirvana members I could of obsessed over for, I chooses Chad and Jason with little to no content during their Nirvana years in the band. Yet I still manage to make content about them, enjoy things about them, and appreciate them. Same thing goes for Weezer, I like Mikey Welsh and Jason cropper like Damm am just interested in forgotten or past band members.

I still cry over Mikey even if he’s dead, he’s still alive to my eyes.

Rewatching the "(If You're Wondering I Want You To) I Want You To" MV and seeing the weezers and mini weezers in Weezerville had me question a few things:

How do the weezers reproduce? Are the weezers all male or are there other variants?

How were the little weezers born? Or are they born at all? Or do the little weezers just sorta appear out of nowhere?

Do they have like a government? Is there a hierarchy? Is their mayor a Rivers?

Are there any Jasons, Matts, and Mikeys around or have they gone extinct? Or are they stages of evolution for the Scotts and Brians? Are the Scotts and Brians natives?
