The TL;DR: My old music and pages will be phased out by the end of the year, songs are going to be redone for future Hi I’m Case-relevant projects.
What about the next albums?
I’m no longer going to be writing for the double album. Songs and material I’ve recorded for it will be used in Hi I’m Case and other projects.
What about the remasters?
The songs from Trying Too Hard will be used in future things and will recieve touch-ups. I’ll have more details on that in the future. The songs from We Mars technically weren’t finished, and the previous question applies to them.
Is the Bandcamp going anywhere?
The Bandcamp will remain with the original versions of the songs for the forseeable future. When you guys start seeing rereleases of old songs, those original albums will disappear.
I really liked the old version of (blank). Are you going to change it?
Songs that I think have a certain charm to the way they were recorded and produced will hardly be touched (e.g. Expect the original recording of FeverDreamless to be rereleased with better mastering somewhere). If I can make something objectively better and rerelease it, however, I will.
Is Hi I’m Case going to be your only artist name?
Hi I’m Case is just a funner and more approachable theme and aesthetic than the dark and edgy one I came up with at 16. I feel it represents what I want my music to be better. But Hi I’m Case will not be the only name I’m releasing music under. More details on that to come as well.
It’ll come back as something entirely different. But I’m pulling out what I’ve put into it so far and working on developing myself and my own musical identity.
