September 5th - The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge accompanied their eldest two children on their first day of the academic year. This was Princess Charlotte’s first day at school
September 10th - Catherine joined Mary Berry at the Back To Nature Festival at RHS Wisley, where she gave a speech
September 11th - The Duchess of Cambridge met with Richard Curtis. This was later revealed to have related to a video message released by the Cambridges and Sussexes for World Mental Health Day
September 13th - The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met with Sir Keith Mills and Lorraine Heggessey, on behalf of the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge
September 18th - The Duchess attended a Trustees’ Meeting for the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge
September 19th - The Duchess of Cambridge visited Evelina London’s Sunshine House to meet the Southwark Family Nurse Partnership National Unit as part of her work on her Early Years’ Initiative. Later that day, a video of the Duchess unveiling the winner of Blue Peter’s Royal Garden Competition was released
September 20th - Catherine received Jason Knauf, on behalf of the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. She then held an Early Years meeting, for her Early Years’ Initiative
September 24th - The Duchess of Cambridge held an Early Years meeting, for her Early Years’ Initiative, on behalf of the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge
September 25th - The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge held a reception for the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at Kensington Palace
September 26th - The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge travelled to Birkenhead, where the Duchess christened the RSS Sir David Attenborough and its famous lifeboat, Boaty McBoatface
