let me love you until you learn to love yourself | jamantha
Samantha felt worthless nowadays. She felt numb, actually. Liam was gone and taking Ana with him. He didn't want her anymore. She was worth nothing, no matter what Declan said to her. She looked out of the plane window and secretly hoped that the plane crashed before she landed in Vancouver so that she would never have to deal with all of this drama ever again. She sighed and licked her lips as the plane landed -- unfortunately, safely -- on Canadian ground, and she stood to get her bags. She went through the airport procedure, and she was escorted to the back by her security. Somehow, her fans were still screaming and waiting behind barricades for her to come out, and the marshal determined it to be unsafe for her to go out to the fans. Instead, she would tweet about it a bit later.
Once she got into her car, she looked at her phone and sighed, whimpering. It was a picture of her and Liam as her background, and she was surprised that this divorce hadn't killed her... Yet. She just shook her head at the thought, locked her phone, and slid it into her back pocket, looking out the window as Ne-Yo's new song 'Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself)' came on the radio. She looked down to her lap and had the hardest time not crying again. She shook her head, looking out the window. She gently sung the song to herself, wishing someone would do that for her.
She got to her hotel and smiled, looking up at it. Maybe if she threw herself into her work this time, she wouldn't have to think about it all, the depression, or anger management, or Ronnie, or Liam, or Jason, or Skylar, or anything. Maybe she'd be happy for a few days. That was what she needed, she needed happiness that she hadn't had in her for a while. She got out of the back of the black Escalade with help from her security guard, walking into the huge skyscraper hotel. Her black heels clicked on the pavement as she walked up the steps and into the building. It was very fancy inside, and best of all? She had the penthouse suite. Her paparazzi got her to the elevator, and went inside with her. He pressed the button for the thirteenth floor, and she waved at some fans who were gawking at her from outside of the elevator as the doors closed. Somehow, her fans still loved her.
Samantha didn't like heights, but she had to admit, she loved being up so high in this suite. Her security guard gave her a key card. She used it and went inside, waving goodbye to her security guard, who stood outside to keep her safe. At the end of the night, he would go into his own suite just down the hall. She threw her key card on the bedside table and turned the lights on, looking around her suite. "Home sweet home." She mumbled, a small smile on her face. She went into the kitchen and grabbed a Monster energy drink from the fridge, then went into her bedroom, where the lights were off. She pulled her shirt up as she turned the light on. Maybe a nice bubble bath would do Samantha some good. But as she turned from the light switch, she saw someone on her bed and shrieked. "Jason! What the fuck are you doing in here? You nearly gave me a heart attack!" She caught her breath.
