Good Show Hooray! Kansas City is a world class sports town. The world looks at the pictures in awe. It was amazing to see that many people wearing a blue shirt that says “Kansas City.” We are still an amazingly good music town. Our musicians are constantly been noticed by millions around the world. They are just harder to pick out because they don’t wear a blue shirt that says Kansas City. When Jason Pritchett made it to the finals of America’s Got talent two seasons ago, not very many people in Kansas City knew him. It seemed like we discovered his talent at the same moment the rest of the country became aware. The “Independence Cowboy” spent the year or so after the show traveling the country playing music. That is what they call living the dream. He doesn’t travel so much now because he has a show at The Starlight Theater in Branson. That is living a little better and easier dream. His song, “Good Show” was in the Top 20 on the Billboard charts. That earned him a spot in last Wednesday’s Country Music Awards Show. It is always good to see a Kansas City guy doing well. The CMAs is a real step up from the Truman High School choir shows he was doing not so many years ago. Good show, old man.
