As Jason's replacement, why didn't you kill the Joker in order to avenge him?

..Ugh. Killing someone wouldn't have made it better. Revenge wasn't why I wormed my way into this.. "life". What I set out to do was make sure that no one else had to die after they lost Jason. I didn't want to see the people that I admired and looked up to, lose themselves. I wanted to help, and I was ready to do whatever I needed to in order to accomplish that goal.

Killing the Joker was in no way going to accomplish that. In fact, I know it would have just cause more problems, and cut off any possibility of trust with not only Batman, but Nightwing as well. It wasn't something that hadn't crossed everyone's minds, at least for a second, I'm sure. But I wasn't going to ruin my chances of trying to help them.. and I knew that was never part of how Batman operated.

I was risking causing enough of a problem while trying to force my way in and tell the others what to do, and what Batman needed, in order to make things better.

More than that.. I don't think of myself as a killer. I'm not sure I really could be, and I definitely don't want to be.
