For the most part, Undyne’s been helping out in Golden Ward with the flooding; reaching the wires underwater was a lot easier for her than for most folks. But now that the whole ward’s frozen over, she’s... going to be a lot less of a help.
And she’s heard from the reports that Cotes is absolutely sweltering, which is even worse, so she ends up going off somewhere else. Specifically: Fibonacci, home of, currently, meteor showers. (Isn’t the weather being controlled by that robot? Why is this an option in the first place??)
It’s here, in the midst of helping people evacuate, that she sees a stranger--taller than she is, and with a hell of a mane of hair--attacking some people trying to cut the wires. That won’t stand. They’re acting like a real bully, and they’ve picked the wrong place to be one.
“HEY!!!” A spear is already flying when she says it, targeted at the attacker’s shoulder from the side.
“COWARD!!” A second spear is already manifesting in her hand as she runs towards the stranger, trying to draw their attention off of the helpless people they were just attacking. “You wanna fight? Pick on someone YOUR OWN SIZE!!”
