Their guests were finally gone, the girls were asleep so Jasper took it as a good opportunity to try and grill his husband. “So,” Jasper clicked his tongue as he looked at Gabe and leaned against the kitchen counter. “You and Dr. Cradle Robber are good?” he asked. “Lately he’s been looking more constipated than usual.” @frvnscos
“Gabe,” Jasper mused with a bored expression in his voice as he looked at the baby asleep peacefully on his arm. “Gabriel, I love you but shut the fuck up, baby,” he gave him a look as his fiancé’s thoughts regarding her position kept ringing in Jasper’s head. “She’s absolutely fine, she’d be screaming her little lungs out if she didn’t like it.”

“We’re so sorry, I suppose she’s not a fan of flying,” Jasper said to the flight attendant who’d handed him the warm water for Abi’s bottle and gave her an apologetic smile. While she, and some of the passengers, did ensure them that they understood completely, he knew that it was still uncomfortable to be around a newborn who screamed her little lungs out for basically the entire 9 hour flight. At least they were in the first class and there had been less people to annoy and Jasper could not imagine travelling anything less, especially with two kids. He sat down next to his husband and handled him the bottle with Abi’s tea in it, hoping that she’d calm down and maybe fall asleep even if just for a bit. Thankfully their other daughter was calm as ever, watching yet another movie on her iPad and playing horse games. “Would we be terrible parents if we Silencio’d her and obliviated the entire flight?” he murmured quietly, so that only his husband could hear him.

“I feel like I should keep the door open because the amount of people thinking ‘they gonna fuck’ on my way here was way too high,” Jasper rolled his eyes playfully as he stood in the doorframe of Gabe’s new office. “So what do you have here?” he asked, nodding at the papers spread out on his fiancé’s desk as he walked up to him.

“Careful, Ava,” Jasper spoke to the little girl as she ran past him, holding his phone and on FaceTime with Percival, just so she could check up on the pony she had gotten for her birthday the weekend before. He made his way through their suite, stopping right in front of his very-soon-to-be husband and smirked. “It’s still not too late to run, if you have any doubts,” he hummed, moving his hands up to tie up Gabe’s bowtie. Of course, he was just joking, knowing that Gabe wanted to marry him as much as he wanted to marry Gabe. Jasper wasn’t even nervous -- maybe it was the fact that they both had been married before and knew what it was like. He just felt excited for the new chapter in their lives. “Unless you decided you want to get married at Disney, then I am going to run,” he teased ad leaned forward to kiss his fiancé.

It was Jasper’s first day back at work after Harry forced him to take a week off and he was honestly eager to finally be back. Missing that bit of adrenaline rush whenever he went out on the field. He walked down the hall towards his office, pausing at the door when he saw that someone was actually inside, causing him to do a double take and check whether the door plate said his name. “Erm, excuse me?” he spoke up, trying to get the stranger’s attention. “If you’re lost, the interns down the hall will be more than happy to help you around.”
Jasper was walking around the Great Hall, making sure, along with the remaining aurors, that everyone was as safe as possible given their current circumstances. He was focused solely on his task, knowing that if he let his mind run free, he would start overthinking and that was not going to help anyone. He saw his boyfriend’s cousin in the corner of his eye and immediately made his way towards her. “Hey, hey, hey,” he spoke, giving her a small smile. “You all right here?” he asked, reaching his arm out for her so that he could help her sit somewhere more comfortable.
