Still begging to go outside and play in the snow. Wish you could hear the low rumble growl/bark thing he does when he’s begging. I

Jasper’s favorite game is bitey hands. It’s like bitey face but w/ people bc he hates having other dogs in his personal space.

So you ruffle his fur and bap at him lightly and he makes the most MURDEROUS noises while he lightly mouths at your hands but doesn’t bite down. He gets so much joy out of it.

Jasper also doesn’t want to eat his food unless it’s: out of his bowl and on the floor, or unless you feed it to him piece by piece

So I have taken to just grabbing his kibble and making him do tricks for dinner bc he will barely eat otherwise.

Age: 10(ish??)

Defining characteristic: Nervous 24/7 til he dies. Weird noise? Hate that! You walking funny? Hate that! He’s the fun police.

He likes:

Hard boiled eggs. He will kill a man for that sweet sweet boiled egg yolk. Highest value treat? Perhaps.

Any food that comes from my hand. Even kibble. As long as it comes from my hand he eats it like a Steak Dinner.

Attention! He likes when I’m focused on him and just him. He doesn’t want someone to look at their phone or talk to someone else while they’re engaging him. Me too buddy.

CHASING. If you run around with him he’ll chase for DAYS. He’s not much of a retriever but he’ll still run after the ball lol.

When I throw treats and tell him to “go get it” or “go find it”. Maybe I should get him a snuffle mat?

I need to:

Have my parents buy him more toys. He doesn’t really have any minus some balls and I think he gets bored. He likes stuff he can rip the limbs off of.

Work on the Alert Barking. I promise I hear you buddy. I promise.

Work on his Reactivity. He has a very long list of things that wronged him Once and he never wants to see again. I would like to make that list shorter.
