SEEBEBASTAIAN?!? *calms down* erm, sebastian, please!
I FEEL YA, GURL. I FEEL YA.
Honestly, Sebastian’s one of my favorite characters — not just in Kuroshitsuji, but in, like, everything. He’s such a complex figure and plays so many roles in Ciel’s life: servant, caretaker, confidant, adviser, bodyguard, eventual killer. That duality of him, the good and bad, is what makes him so fun. And it’s not just a good vs evil duality he has; he’s clever and manipulative but gets surprised by things too, which I like because it shows that, you know, he’s not this indestructible figure that he likes to portray himself as. He has weaknesses. He has several personalities. He has likes and dislikes. I think the ultimate duality of Sebastian that Yana tries to portray is that he’s a demon, obviously, but in many ways he’s also very human-like.
I like to imagine that Sebastian thought his time with Ciel would be short-lived but instead found himself falling deeper and deeper into the vast, complicated world of Victorian England. He’s surprised by this child he’s contracted too. This little walking, talking slab of meat (for him, at least) that he underestimates time and time again. He’s absolutely fascinated by this tiny human and the world he’s built for himself. And, eventually, Sebastian finds that he enjoys playing pretend in this boy’s world more than he ever thought he would.
Sebastian’s so complicated and layered and funny and well-written, I just think he’s great. He’s a fun character to watch develop and I honestly can’t wait to see where Yana takes him as the series continues.
jasyzilla reblogged your photoset:A new aesthetic type arises.
this was really good. it began with butler aesthetics and ended with demon aesthetics.
one hell of an aesthetic

this whole sebciel thing has worn me down so much at this point i barely even care (i must admit i did laugh at the yelling though) so whats really bad is that i cant even pinpoint exactly what bothers me about it but now im in this weird state of melancholic nostalgia towards nothing in particular and its like >:|
im also glad bc akiras song was one of the top things i was looking forward to and now here it is and its really good even though im not in the mood to properly enjoy it right now
no one wants to be around u when u have ur baby no one can handle the mass of mexicans gathered outside ur room
