Congrats to the late great Chadwick Boseman Congrats to Daniel Kaluuya on his first GG win

First things first rest in power King Chadwick. My heart was glad to see him awarded for Best Actor for his portrayal of Levee Green on Netflix’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. It is a shame that he was not there to receive it but his lovely wife Taylor Simone Ledward did. I haven’t watched this film yet but I have no doubts that it is a deserving win performance but maybe an overdue win for his many previous iconic performances as this was Chadwick’s first nomination.

Daniel Kaluuya won Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Fred Hampton in Judas and the Black Messiah. I watched this last week and I’m blown away but Daniel’s gravity as an actor. He’s very engaging and has incredible range. This one is probably my favorite performance by him. This was his second nomination his first was for Get Out.

I really only follow the Oscars during award season but this year I feel the Golden Globe winners deserved more recognition from this stand. I always love to follow the MCU cast family in their other films and often times we might see multiple cast members in a single film. These two are not just MCU cast or Black Panther cast they are bonafide superstars and for Daniel I can see many more awards coming. I encourage you my fellow MCU fans to go back and watch Chadwick’s films to celebrate his win and legacy. I’ll be watching Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom this weekend!
