As much as I’m loving the depth and nuance of the ‘Trevor wasn’t guilty, he was a grieving kid who got taken advantage of because Hollywood is hell’ takes, I don’t think the show is going to live up to these ideas if it ever does tackle that plotline. This isn’t a show that’s subtle about its villains - I mean, we got Caleb literally evil laughing in his second appearance. That doesn’t leave a lot of space for shades of grey.

I think it’s a spectacular take, but I still think is going to be confined to fanon, and we should explore it as much as possible before it gets joss’ed.
