This is very difficult to put on paper. I loved every minute I spent in Ohio. Drafted by the Jackets 8 years ago, getting the opportunity to help the team win a Calder Cup in Cleveland, giving me the opportunity to play in the NHL and start my career off in such a great city like Columbus. To the fans in Columbus, Thank you for everything. To the coaching staff, trainers, equipment managers, all those who work tirelessly behind the scene so we can play the game we love, I thank you for everything. To the Columbus Blue jackets organization, thank you for drafting me and thank you for 8 great years. To play in the NHL was my dream and you helped make that dream come true. To my brothers. This is hard. We fought every battle together, as one. Such an amazing group of people and many friendships that will last forever. Columbus will always have a special place in my heart ❤️❤️

Something about you has always kept me interested and kept me wanting more, and more. So I gave you my last name.
With all the hussle and bustle at a stand still, with everything going on, we decided the easiest thing for us to do was to elope. With the help of our officiant (@gigihadid), the ‘backyard’ of out apartment, and family on group facetime, we were able to say our vows. Small but safe, practicing social distancing while still kissing the bride was impossible, but I’m happy to be on this ride with @taylor_hill.
