The JAVAN MUNIA ( lonchuraleucogastroides ) This morning I saw a group of Javan Munia birds near the bush not far from the SPH parking lot where I work. It is introduced from Indonesia in the 1920s, this species has been doing well until recently. It is now uncommon. It has a big white belly and lower breast, dark brown breast and upperparts. Sexes similar.
