#javascript error

I tried to edit a page (where I have a custom page theme installed) on my sideblog and I encountered a javascript error. I thought maybe the theme is outdated (I’ve had that blog almost as long as this one and I seriously can’t even remember when I installed those themes), so I tried another page theme. Still the same error.

I googled ‘tumblr theme javascript error’ and I found out that Tumblr has banned javascript for ‘potential malicious use’ and that the only way to “maybe” get it enabled on your blogs is to contact support and request permission to use it.

So that’s what I did then. 🤷‍♀️ I don’t know if it’s going to help; I don’t know if they’re going to do anything about it. If I have to revamp my sideblog’s old navigation page and readd the links again, then I guess I have no choice. But I’d rather not to.

javascript broke page editing lol

for anyone curious about not being able to edit PAGES with custom urls but for whatever wack ass reason the BLOG EDITOR will still take them. this is the message i got from the help center....

tldr; they updated something and broke it. they’ll have it fixed in the next week i guess. hopefully they’re not on island time.

ps. if u wanna make double sure you dont somehow get left out of the fix? submit ur own trouble ticket at their help center i guess.

Discord Javascript Error

a lot of people have been getting the java script error upon start up, which looks like this

(sorry i couldn’t get a better screenshot, i already fixed this problem)

but for those of you who havent, it’s really simple to fix! 

METHOD 1.

go to the control panel and uninstall discord, don’t worry about closing the application first, it will not close until you uninstall it

after uninstalling it, use WIN + R and in the pop up box type in %appdata%

press OK and windows explorer should pop up with a list of files folders to all programs you have installed on your device

RIGHT-click on discord and press ‘DELETE’, once the files are completely deleted empty the recycle bin and go to discordapp.com to get a clean install of the application!

METHOD 2.

this has fixed it completely for some people, however, once you restart your computer, the error may come back - if it does use WIN + R again and retype %appdata%

this time DO NOT uninstall discord and keep it open while RIGHT-clicking on the folder

have discord open and repeatedly press “DELETE” until it logs you out of discord 

after you’ve been logged out, without touching the recycle window, sign back in

you shouldn’t have the error anymore after following these steps! you can now close the recycle window and continue to use discord!!

I can't handle this anymore. I need help.

This message pops up in my browser every time I try to play a Pastelkatto game and I have no clue what could be possibly causing it. The only thing I could figure out is that this is supposed to be an in-game ad and something stops it from playing, which blocks the entire game from working.

It's not any of my adblockers because I turned those off and it didn't go away.

It's not just because of my browser because I also tried it in Microsoft Edge which I never use and it didn't go away.

Which probably means the problem is coming from somewhere within my computer. Except I even tried turning off my desktop protection apps, and that still did nothing.

Can anyone provide some help in this matter? Please?
