Just last night Jonas had gotten an email from Javier Silva, in which he let him know that both he and the co-creator of the webcomic, Riley Fairbanks, would attend the reatreat that was taking place in Plymouth. So far all he knew about them was that they were based in Boston, so judging by the list of universities that would participate in this year’s retreat, they had to be either in Turing or MIT. His bet was Turing, MIT’s forte wasn’t creativity, after all.
It was just perfect that he would get to meet them before he’d anticipated. Jonas had given his phone number to Silva and through a few texts they arranged to meet after the last of the conferences at Plymouth University. He had no clue what either of them looked like so deciding on a specific spot to meet was the best way to get to them. Outside the cafeteria at quater past three. Honoring the cliché of the punctuality of the Germans, Jonas was there at precisely that time. Not even a minute must have passed when two people started to approach him. One wore glasses, the other one had vibrantly colored hair. “Riley and Javier?” he asked.
