This is an Odd one but WHY DOES JAX NOT HAVE A TAIL DURING HIS ABSTRACTION DREAM THING?!?

If you zoom in he has no tail but he clearly has one the rest of the adventure. What does this mean?!? What does the tail represent!??!?

Honestly, I thought we would get to see how Jax got his tail. I think finding that out would have been fun:D

TADC Fan Theory: Jax’s Tail

Okay, I have a theory on what the deal is with Jax’s tail. I haven’t seen anyone else have this same theory so if this has been mentioned before then I apologize in advance for being repetitive.

I couldn’t help but think about Jax’s choice of words when he realizes his tail is missing in episode 5. He says “how long have I not had my tail?” And “when would that… have even…” like he’s trying to figure out when that would have happened.

Not HOW that could’ve happened. He doesn’t seem surprised that he can lose his tail. Almost like it’s happened before.

And then I thought some more and I can’t help but wonder if that’s what happens when he holds his breath.

We still don’t know what happens to Jax when he holds his breath. He purposefully avoids the question in episode 3. What if his tail falls off when he holds his breath?

Because sure, we’ve seen him get choked out before. By Zooble in episode 1 and Pomni in episode 6. But both of those moments were very brief and we saw in episode 3 that it takes a little bit of time after they start holding their breath for their “thing” to happen.

So maybe I’m making leaps in logic here but I can’t help but wonder if “when would that… have even…” before he trails off is him thinking back trying to figure out when he held his breath to lose his tail.

And when he remembers he goes and retrieves it before the next episode begins. And boom, there it is in episode 6.

I guess time till tell!
