I have over 1k followers here now and I know it’s because I hurt ppl with Jasp art like 3 times and I’m p proud of my legacy
When I’m not working on my webcomic/school I’ll do a SU themed art giveaway
AND JASPER, she’s defying all of Homeworld’s ideals, wanting to fuse, becoming a rebel in her own rite, enslaving gems, basically becoming an anti-Rose. I love it. I love her even more then I did before. She’s gonna become an amazing, deeply complex character who will have to go through so much hardship before she can consider being redeemed and I can’t wait to see that.
This is the conflict I wanted. I wanted to see Jasper and Amethyst interact, so see Ame’s struggle with seeing what she could have been and who she is. Being called useless and weak and having to fight through her own flaws to become something more then a soldier. Ame has so much inner turmoil, knowing that she can never live up to what she was made to do, but instead fills her time with things to distract herself from her own sadness. She’s so complex, I can’t wait for this to play out.
