“...I always used aggression.. or you know, I always had to be... it had to be me against something. So it was like, me against the world to do what I needed to do and I’ve only come to the realisation now that that really got in the way of the creative process. You have to be calm. I always have to be calm. Um, you can have those moments of insanity before - and that can be your inspiration - but you have to be calm and I’ve learned that as I’ve gotten older.”

"there are somethings you're just not going to to overcome....so the ability to walk away is something that is so hard to learn, to just walk away from something, just to let it happen and lay down, don't try to stand up to something that you're not ever going to overcome, wherever is in life, wherever if its a situation or something... and if you can lay your ego down and just say "you know what? i'm powerless" and give yourself to something else... and i think that gives you all sorts of freedom, and thats something i'm still trying to grasp" well done aquarius guy, well said!
