It's Okay - Christian Cage x reader

Christian and I were at the mall doing some shopping for our upcoming honeymoon to Greece. The mall was packed on the sunny Saturday, probably with most just trying to stay of the heat.

"You doing okay Sweetheart?" Christian asks, squeezing my hand gently.

"Yeah, just more packed than I thought it would be." I attempt to give him a smile but it comes across more forced than planned.

"We can go home if it's too much. I don't want you to push yourself Honey."

"We've barely gotten 2 bags of clothes, we still need swimwear and a few other things."

"What kind of other things are you talking about there Mrs Reso?"

"Things that make you spend all day wanting to fuck me Mr Reso." I smirk and quickly head to Victoria's Secret with him following closely behind.

We browse the store and I trial a few sets for him before paying and moving to the next store we need to visit.

As we make our way through the mall, more people stop us and ask for photos and signatures from my husband which he agrees to. However, the more people approach the quicker I feel myself getting overwhelmed and overstimulated.

Christian notices and politely informs that he won't be doing any more photos or signatures. He pulls me close to him and kisses my temple as he guides me to a more quiet place.

Quickly a woman grabs his arm, begging for a photo.

"No, I'm sorry. No more pictures today."

"Come on please." She shoves her phone into my hand and pushes me in front of her.

"I said no. My wife and I has been bombarded with the request and I was nice enough to stop for the polite people but you have been straight up disrespectful especially to my wife and I will not tolerate it."

Christian thrusts the phone back into the woman's hands before taking mine and guiding us out of the mall and to the car.

I finally break once we arrive back at the car. Tears quickly fall and Christian pulls me into his chest.

"I'm so sorry Sweetheart. It's okay, let it out."

"I'm sorry, it was just too much."

"You have nothing to be sorry for Baby. I should've gotten you out of there earlier. How about we go home and I'll order the last few items on your list as well as some food and we rest for the afternoon?"

"Yes please."

Christian kisses the crown of my head before opening the car door for me and doing my seatbelt up before he makes his way to the driver side and driving us home.

During the drive, he rests one hand on my thigh, keeping me from bouncing my leg.

"It's okay Baby, we're almost home." I nod at his words thankful to have such an incredible husband.

Back at the house, Christian place the bags in our room before pulling me into his arms and I look up to meet his bright orbs.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, just a little shaken and still a little overstimulated by everything."

"I'm really so-"

"Don't finish that sentence mister. It's not your fault. You can't control other peoples actions. You got me out of there as fast as you could and I'm okay. Now can we please cuddle and watch a movie?"

"Yes Sweetheart." He smiles and kisses me softly. I return the kiss before stripping and pulling off the shirt he's wearing before putting it on myself.

"Thief." He says chuckling before removing his jeans and following me to the couch where I lay on top of him and put on the latest scream movie.

"I love you Mr Reso."

"I love you too, Mrs Reso."
