Royal Blood Season 2 (Maybe Interactive Stories) : Kane Route

note : spoilers ahead, read at your own risk

finished kane’s route just today. uh-wow it created a bigger hole in my heart. i’ve been following royal blood since the first season and honestly speaking, i wasn’t a big fan of kane since he’s the main villain in season 1 (he legit went nuts in that season. when he got his eye chopped, killed his own father and dead, i truly think he deserves it). however, i guess many fans has been asking to make him become a secret route in the season 2, so yea we got him. and honestly i think it was a really great decision.

since i choose kane for my partner, i’ve got to experience his ending and got this illustration (very yummy if i may say). i havent seen any other characters’ endings but i will definitely check it out soon.

it turns out that kane has a lover before he went nuts in royal blood season 1. and the MC which is his lover, is the main reason why wolves and vampires decide to agree with their peace treaty. even though kane really hates vampires, for the sake of the MC, he decides to let it go and just stays by her side.

however, as we all might know, the MC is not a vampire nor werewolves. she’s just a normal human being. that means not like kane, her time is limited and she will eventually die. kane, not wanting her to die, decided to ask a favor to the russell brothers to turn the MC into vampire so kane can stay with her forever. even though kane truly hates vampire, he is willing to turn his loved one to one in order to be with her forever.

however, the russell brothers doesnt want to turn her into vampire because MC herself is good already as a human being and doesnt mind have a limited life span. at the end of the day, kane finally decides to give up turning her into a vampire. so he spent their limited time together by her side until she eventually dies.

after the MC is dead, kane finally cannot handle his urge and his hatred towards vampires. he doesnt care anymore about the peace treaty that his lover made since shes gone already. moreover, he also said previously that werewolves only dedicate themselves for one person, and kane already said that person would be the MC. thus, i believe this is the main reason why he went insane in season 1.

final verdict of kane’s ending : a frickin masterpiece. villain’s motives as usual but im soooo in love with this idea. the reason why i choose him as my first ending is because i truly want to know the reason why he went insane in season 1 and honestly speaking, the episode doesnt dissapoint me.

(i really need to check out other characters’ endings to see whether they also dont have the courage to turn her into vampires. but dang it will cost me a lot to replay another 20 episodes multiply by 4 characters.)
