Congressman Jonathan Jackson's offers prayer at the National Prayer Breakfast 2026
Rep. Jonathan Jackson asked the president to think of the families of Renée Good and Alex Pretti.
During his address to God at the National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, Rep. Jonathan Jackson, a democrat from Illinois, called on President Donald Trump to be “invested in the elevation of suffering” of people in this country, including “the families preparing to bury their loved ones in Minneapolis.”
Rep. Jackson, son of civil rights leader Rev. Jesse Jackson, asked God to “remind” the president “that he has the power to turn mourning into dancing or to reduce the country into a cosmic elegy of chaos and suffering” as Trump stood just feet away, his eyes fluttering open and shut during the prayer.

the vibe I bring to the function:
Sadly, Dominic Zamprogna didn't win Lead Actor last night. That went to Paul Telfer who plays Xander Harris on Days Of Our Lives. He's still a winner in my book. This was his 1st nomination for lead actor and 5th overall. He still has plenty of time because he always knocks it out of the park. I'll always be thankful for the work he put into the goodbye story for Sam. As a Sante fan, it meant the world to me.
So how did GH do?
General Hospital won 7 AWARDS last night at the Daytime Emmys! The most of any show. They also won most of the major categories. I'm so proud of this show. I've been a fan for 40 years and it is still one of my favourites on TV. Congrats to everyone involved!
what do you mean they are not the same person?
