Laurie Lin: Sixteen years old, she's a loner-ish girl in the Astronomy Club with a huge crush on Clara. She wants an adventure, but not the one she gets from Hayko. She's easily angered and likes spicy foods, and doesn't know where she wants to go in life. Doesn't have any aspirations. Easy to manipulate, surprisingly. 5'7. Clara Jones: Sixteen. Absolutely obsessed with outer space, Clara longs to live among the stars and wants to become an astronaut someday, and has a high IQ. She believes in aliens-- even in a couple of government conspiracy theories about Area 51 and stuff like that. Stubborn, not easy to sway. 5'3. Jay Stewart: Seventeen. The most nervous boy on the planet, Jay has an extreme anxiety disorder to the point where he was homeschooled all the way from grade seven to grade eleven. He only came back to school after his best friend (and crush) Stephen swayed him into coming back to school. Dependent on his friends. Wants to be a scientist someday. 6'0. Stephen Rose: Seventeen. Jay's best friend since childhood, Stephen aspires to be an astronaut and has since he was a kid. Cares about Jay more than anything else, loves him and has a crush on him (but is not dependent on him). Not easy to manipulate in the slightest, very perceptive and one shouldn't try to manipulate a beefcake like him anyway. Hayko Msh'creia: One hundred three years old. Hayko is a manipulative, disgusting alien with a murderous penchant and he is very charismatic in his actions. He often goes to planets that have not had contact with aliens and manipulates the natives into murdering each other, making them believe that the others are malevolent aliens called "Yahnni," which translates to "Lie" in Hayko's home language. 6'7.
