The night club was crowded, and Ronan had been trying to get the bartender's attention for at least fifteen minutes. Just as the man behind the counter began to turn towards her, a figure cut in front of her and ordered a drink. With her brow furrowing in surprise, she cleared her throat and tapped gently on his shoulder. "Um, excuse me sir," she said with a warm smile, struggling to be heard above the music. "Would you mind getting his attention again? I've been waiting for a while."
Jay hadn’t noticed the female behind him, so when he had sauntered up to the bar after his rounds on the turntable, he was extremely parched and even if alcohol definitely wouldn’t make it better, he found himself ordering a simple beer for the time being. A tap against his shoulder had him turning back, a sheepish smile on his lips, because he might have cut her. “Yo,” grabbing the girl by the shoulder, he pulled her up next to him, cradled against his side. “This pretty lady wants a drink, what do you want, I’ll pay.”
