Reactions vary. Jo's hands fly to his mouth. Jay looks a bit saddened, but not surprised. Ivu gasps.

"You figured it out rather quickly! Well done!" Hosuh sounds genuinely impressed. "It usually gets down to three or so people-"

"Wait, what do you mean usually?" You interrupt.

Hosuh ignores your question. "Well, at any rate, you won the game! You can leave now! The door should be unlocked."

"W-we can leave? You're not going to kill us?" Jo blurts. Jay hisses at him to shut up.

But Hosuh laughs. "Kill you? Of course not! You won the game, and your prize is that you get to live! I need to get going, though. I'll be seeing you again very soon though. Buh-bye!" He snaps his fingers, and he's gone. He simply vanishes.

For several moments, everyone sits in stunned, disbelieving silence. Finally, Jay stands. He walks towards the door, turns the handle-

And it swings open. You get up as well, moving to join him by the doorframe. Soon, everyone else does too. It's dark outside. It looks to be about 9 PM. Strange, since the clocks on the wall said it was about noon. Your car is still there. So is everyone else's. You walk to your car and get in almost mechanically. You haven't fully digested the fact that it's over as you start up your engine and begin driving in the direction of your house. As you drive, you pull out your phone to check the time. It's 9:47 on the 25th-

Wait a minute. That couldn't be right. It was the 27th, right? You'd arrived at the party at about 7 PM on the 25th. But you'd slept at least twice. It couldn't have just been two hours, right?

Whatever. You'd worry about that later. You finally pull up to your house. Exiting the car, you unlock the front door and step inside.

Elias is standing there. He turns to face you as you enter, greeting you with a smile.

"Hey Dan! How was the party?"

At that moment, everything hits you. And oh boy, it hits you hard. You can't move. You're rooted in place. Elias's smile dissolves into concern.

"Dan? Are you okay?"

You feel your eyes flood with tears. You lunge forward, pulling your brother into a tight embrace.

"Daniel- what-?" You cut him off with an involuntary sob. Elias is clearly confused, but he returns the embrace, rubbing soothing circles into your back.

"Shh. You're okay. You're safe now."

You remain there, in his arms, for a long while.

You're home.
