Viktor first noticed your odd behavior in the summertime, the first year he had you in his class.
You’d made a staple for yourself in the classroom, a young adult with a bright mind and a strong sense of direction.
Viktor enjoyed your company more than most people he spent his days with, feeling a warm buzzing in his chest whenever you’d walk into class with a smile turned his way.
Your sudden odd behavior worried him. You seemed exhausted and spent, struggling to sit and stand, out of breath from things even he could do with ease on a bad pain day.
Even though the sun fried the sidewalks, you came to class bundled up firmly in thick sweaters and jackets, refusing to remove them.
Viktor inquired about your behavior, but you insisted that you were fine.
The seasons came and went, you were fine by next spring, back to your normal self. Viktor found it odd, but let it be.
Then you and Viktor started dating.
He had no idea how it really happened. A normal conversation in his empty classroom turning into a late-night heart to heart in the courtyard. You’d kissed him under the stars, confessing to him with the expectation of rejection.

Wisteria was a bubbly girl you had in late winter, only a few months old, but already bursting with personality and wonder for the world around her.

Introducing her to Viktor was a sight to behold.
Wisteria stared into Viktor’s golden eyes with the same curiosity she greeted any new person with, observing him as he observed her, cradled gently in his arms and resting on his legs as he sat beside you.
His large and work-tattered hands held your baby like she’d shatter if even looked at wrong, seeing every feature in her that he saw in you.
She was a carbon copy, with some of your hair slowly growing in on her little head and eyes the same shade and color as your’s.
Viktor watched her little hand flex open and closed, slowly reaching over to hold onto one of his fingers. His heart soared as he watched her, a type of love he’d never experienced before, simply because he never thought he’d live to see the day he became a father.
“This is why you were so tired and sick before, because you were carrying this little bundle of joy around?” You nodded your head, sheepish.
“I didn’t want anyone to know, you know how people act when they see someone young have a baby.” You weren’t wrong, Viktor knew that all too well, he’d seen many students fall out of education because of similar circumstances.
Viktor immediately became the best father around.
You taught him how to make a baby sling from a blanket so he could carry her comfortably without risk of injuring his back/leg.
He carries Wisteria all over, but doesn’t let her into the lab, it’s no place for his precious baby girl. Too many explosive substances and sharp tools.
Wisteria develops an odd mix of Viktor and your accent, Czech sounding in the vowels, she also says “no?” After many of her sentences like Viktor does.
Viktor introduces her to Jayce and Mel and they fall in love immediately, they’re her uncle and aunty now!
Free babysitters and many, many healthy male role models and powerful female role models. Especially when she’s introduced to Ekko/Jinx/Vi/Caitlyn.
Has had many class sessions where he’s holding Wisteria as he writes on the chalk board and she naps while you sit and work, you still have a degree to get after all!
All the students are so curious to know who Viktor’s partner is, but no one has linked you as a suspect just yet.
Viktor is a huge worrier, always making sure you and Wisteria are happy and healthy. He personally made sure you both have proper clothing for any weather, a baby bag full of anything that could ever be needed, that your school bag has a first aid kit, and that you both always have anything you’d need.
Wisteria ends up being a little artist! Viktor hangs up her recent drawings and stores all the old ones in a filing cabinet, sectioned by year and month.
The moment Wisteria calls him dad/daddy/dada is the day that man sobs his eyes out.
He’s a dad! He’s a dad to a beautiful little girl! And you’re his beautiful boyfriend who gave him such a gift! He’s the luckiest man alive!
Intends to have more children with you if you’d want.
He doesn’t care if they’re boys or girls or anything in between, he just wants a big family with you.

He wears his ring as a necklace he can easily tuck under his shirt to 1) keep his marriage to you under wraps for now and 2) keep it safe from the many dangerous experiments he, Mel, and Jayce perform.

A very strict but loving father, never yells/breaks things.
Definitely would say “I’m just disappointed” which makes Wisteria wish he’d just yell at her instead.
Helps Wisteria study and doesn’t make her cry. Wisteria is not getting the “crying at the dining room table as your dad tries to help you with math homework” experience. Viktor is a teacher and a genius, he’ll help Wisteria without causing a meltdown.
On bad pain days where he can’t get out of bed, Wisteria and you always make him “get well soon” cards. He keeps all of them with Wisteria’s drawings.
Wisteria doesn’t entirely understand the extent of what’s happening until she’s much older, but she knows one of her dads is hurting and wants to make him feel better.
Is her tutor, he’s a genius, you don’t have to pay a stranger to potentially teach his daughter wrong.
You guys go on date nights and leave Wisteria with Jayce and Mel, or in order if they’re not available; Vi/Caitlyn, then Jinx/Ekko.
You don’t get handouts on grades despite how much he loves you, he still expects you to earn those yourself.
You get more help though.
After you get your degree and get a job alongside Viktor, everyone knows Wisteria is your and Viktor’s kid, but don’t say anything.
If Wisteria’s biological dad shows up? Viktor is immediately protective and wants him to leave. He doesn’t care what he has to say, you and Wisteria are his family now.
Is likely to threaten the guy with violence.
Or using his power as a respected scientist and professor to get him as far away as possible, he isn’t above it.
All and all, he’s very sweet, protective, and loves you both to death.
