“you sleeping baby?” jay asks quietly, a soft smile plastered on his face when you hum sleepily. “jongie,” you whine, making grabby hands at him, a soft chuckle escaping his perfect lips at your antics.
“‘m here baby, just sleep,” he planted a soft kiss on your temple and pulled the blanket higher up your body. “jay?” you murmur quietly as he nudges your cheek with his nose. “what’s wrong, gorgeous?” he asks, soft lips grazing your neck.
“can you sing me a song?”
jay pauses, a huge grin making its way onto his face. “want me to sing you to sleep, pretty girl?” he asks, chuckling as you nod. “alright, “ he said before slowly going into the first verse of blossom. “aenai jikan ga fuan wo nokoshita, kokoro no naka ni wa nukumori kanjiteta,” his deep voice scrambled your thoughts, causing a deep weight to be placed on your eyelids, making you feel sleepy.
you hum contentedly, your face resting in his neck. that night you sleep better than you have ever slept before.
