Hey, theoretically could we commission a fabric plague doctor mask? I've been wanting one, but because I'm an essential worker/have terrible luck with sewing projects, I don't have the time nor ability to make one myself
From people who do commissions, yes. Use of the pattern is unrestricted so crafters are free to use it to make items for profit, including on commission.
But if you are asking if you can commission me to make one I am sorry but the answer is no. I have strict rules about only doing commission work for close relatives and people I have gotten blackout drunk in a paddock in rural Australia with.

Overall my luck in life seems to be fairly good. I've never had to worry about where my next meal would come from or whether I'd have a roof over my head. Health care has sometimes been uncertain though. I had a decent enough education (it could have been more focused if I had known what I wanted to do) and a stable relationship with my husband. Uprooting my life in California to move to Iowa had an unexpected side effect of lower cost of living, especially housing.
I try to keep things in perspective and to avoid congratulating myself for things that are outside my control. And I always read about other people's life experiences in their social media and in advice columns to remind myself that my experiences are not universal.
Now if you mean my luck at gambling, sorry, I've never been tempted.

So, I'm curious how well I'd survive. I was raised in the south, so I'm compulsively polite. I'm a kitchen witch (magic through food), believe in the New Gods theory (humans make their gods), and I habitually wear an inside out headband that I've soaked in rosemary saltwater. I try to befriend all animals and generally respect them. I'm a jack of all trades when it comes to art and can frequently be found writing or drawing by the moonlight. I'm bringing my cat with me to college IRL, as well.
Any kitchen is almost a holy place while you are there, and the hunted invariably find it. You don’t mind offering sanctuary, but you’re owed a lot of favors by now and you should either call them in or call them off.
