The night was unusually still. The Red Hood was MIA after an attempt to execute Joker in order to bring peace to Gotham. The Batman intervened, and stopped his former partner, not before an explosion rocked Crime Alley. Batman searched through the wreckage, but found no trace of the Hood, nor the Joker.
The smell of smoke singed his nostrils, but he did nothing but watch as the fire department put out the remaining flames.
It went on like this for several weeks.
