Melbourne's Jaye Kranz is the musical mastermind -- singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer -- behind Brighter Later, a collaborative outfit that released 2013's The Wolves, an exquisite album nominated for the Australian Music Prize. We called it a collection of "songs hushed, unhurried and meticulously crafted with slo-mo intimacy, each melody laid out with care and burnished with intricate detail." Now Kranz, along with BL cohorts Virginia Bott and Patrick Dunn and various studio guests, presents the "Brace," the ethereal lead track from a forthcoming 2015 sophomore effort (title, date TBA).
