Awwww, absolutely! 

Related head canon first: Lonnie is both asexual and aromantic. However, that being said, she’s open to something called a companionate relationship. It’s a relationship that’s considered on par with a romantic one but Lonnie still doesn’t feel romantic attraction to anybody. That said, Lonnie is open to dates, kissing, etc. although she doesn’t get the same things out of it that Jay does, he makes her very happy. Both this post and any other ship posts with her should be understood as companionate ones. 

- Jay and Lonnie going for morning runs together before class starts. Sometimes they just run in silence and sometimes they talk about various issues of the day, give each other advice, or just hold hands. 

- Those two put everyone else to SHAME on a dance floor. Jay lifts her up like nobody else does both literally and figuratively. 

- Jay is SO WARM. Just…so warm. Forget asking for his jacket, she wants a hug when she’s cold. 

- Sparring for ROAR and having way too much fun and getting waaaaaaayyyyy too into it. They yell things like ‘En garde’ all the time they’re such dorks. 

- Double dating with Audrey and whoever she’s dating these days because Lonnie and Audrey are friends. ALSO double dating with the rest of the Core Four and it’s super fun? 

- Lonnie gets SO SAD when Jay tells her things about growing up on the Isle (and occasionally SO MAD because how dare anybody mistreat their kids that way especially someone like her man). Jay kinda tries to avoid talking about it because he doesn’t want to make her cry again, but Lonnie wants to hear about it, even the upsetting parts because she cares about Jay. 

- Jay visiting over the summer and getting to meet the rest of the Li family - surprise, he’s a hit. He helps Shang with chores and spars with her brother Li’l Shang and gets to try some of Mulan’s famous chocolate chip cookies (they’re JUST AS GOOD as Lonnie said) and listens to her war stories and politely helps her grandparents and great grandma around the house when asked and just making himself SUPER USEFUL. 

- PARKOUR! Just….parkour everywhere. It gets particularly fun when Lonnie shows Jay kickboxing moves and Jay shows her some of his harder parkour moves, and those two are suddenly everywhere. 

- Lonnie cheers super loudly for him during tourney games and is SO PROUD when he wins, they’re going for ice cream as soon as he’s done with victory pizza with the team. She’s 1000% supportive of Jay being a professional tourney player and she really thinks he can make it.

- The two of them making play lists and mix tapes for each other just all the time? Lonnie started it so Jay made other people show him how to make one back and then it just never stopped.
