After leaving their clan and starting a new life together Jayce and Viktor find a nice spot by a river to build their new home. Jayce has a tendancy to go rooting around human inhabitted areas out of curiosity sometimes and I imagine he found their blanket and yoinked it to build their nest haha.
Viktor usually joins him but when he gets to this point in his pregnancy where he is just rotund, he just wants to sleep all day, understandably. Jayce goes out fishing in the river but otherwise spends all his time caring for Vik. I think sometimes they see eachother and they just get overwhelmed by how happy they are, living a life they never thought possible.
