and BAM all of a sudden I can remember none of my birthdays

I think when I was 9 years old my parents took me to this resort that I really like (it's closed now, sadly), and I was allowed to bring my stuffed animals and my tamagotchi with me

you can program your tamagotchi with your birthday so that it'll greet you, and I woke up to it displaying a birthday cake on the screen! I was so happy that I reset the date and time over and over just to see it again ///v///

HMM well this is a really good question, actually!! I can't remember a specific time, but you know those almost-ordinary days you get where everything that happens to you is more or less pretty neat? like the weather is nice and your breakfast is good and someone texts you something funny? those are the days I feel most content, I think uvu

it's all kinda hazy but there was this time in my second year of high school when I was feeling really down (although I can't remember why) and I was with my best friend at the time

I think her parents arrived so she had to go home, but before she left she said she had to text her sister because she went to the same school as us

I received a text message shortly after, and it was from my best friend. she was trying to cheer me up, and at the very end of it she added "and I wasn't lying earlier, I really was texting my sister."

I think I nearly cried ;<;
