Does anyone know of any sort of indie graphic tutorial? I’m doing pretty good at the coding but I can’t get a handle on making a background.

I don’t know if I’ll be more active here because I’m trying to distract myself or completely not here because I’m not up for it, but a dear friend passed away today, and I figured I should say something here. She was by no means young, nor was it sudden, but it does hurt quite a lot.
