***BIG ANNOUNCEMENT***
The last time I officially marched was almost 4 years ago. Since then, a lot has happened in my life. I guess I really couldn’t stay away because last fall, I became an assistant Pit tech for my old high school’s marching band/indoor percussion group and now, I am preparing to go to my first Drum Corps rehearsal on Saturday to try it out! My friends were able to convince me to get out there again. I’m honestly so excited but soooo nervous at the same time. Not only haven’t I marched drill since my junior year of high school, I’m set to march baritone. I was primarily a woodwind and percussion player in high school. I only picked up Euphonium/Baritone my senior year to play a couple songs in Concert Band. SO WAHOOOOO I’M DOUBTING MYSELF BUT WAHOOOO LET’S TAKE RISKS!!!!
With that being said, I have changed my URL from “ohyeahmarchingband” to “ohyeahdrumcorps” in hopes of motivating and pumping myself up for this new journey. Does this mean I’m going to be set up for the comeback I’ve been wanting? Let’s find out!! TELL YA MAMA. TELL YA FRIENDS. WE MAKING MOVES OUT HERE FAM.
