🍬Jasnah/Azure?
You bet! Here's a sweet treat, rated Teen.
Jasnah rarely woke slowly. She rarely did anything slowly, if she could help it. But since Azure had come into her life, she found she was starting to savour things more: her meals, her evenings, and now her early mornings. She knew that the moment she opened her eyes, she would be faced with the prospect of Azure leaving within minutes. Azure liked being ready to guard her the moment she was ready to leave her rooms. So, she didn't open her eyes. Instead she rolled over, her belly to Azure's broad back, and traced her fingertips up Azure's thigh, over her hip, and then around her belly button. Touching just to touch, not to learn. Jasnah had memorized her ages ago. "I swear you wake up earlier and earlier," Azure's husky voice murmured as she rolled over to face Jasnah. "I want to give you time to get ready, so you don't have to rush. Maybe I'll lay in bed a read a while before I start my day." She couldn't help it; she opened her eyes, breaking the spell. And there she was--Jasnah's unlikely confidant, her protector, her advisor. A powerful immortal, though not quite as immortal as Hoid had been, nor quite as knowledgeable. However, that made her more human, more open, and nowhere near as annoying. Jasnah smiled, taking in Azure's hair as it shifted from its neutral black to a rich yellow. Taking in her smile--not crafted, but a hard-earned natural smile. Knowing Azure's history was, in a way, knowing her own possible future. Just as knowing Jasnah's present concerns was like an alternate history for Azure. They complemented each other that way; supported each other that way. It was a new experience for Jasnah, to find a peer who was as capable of helping as being helped. She found it extremely satisfying. She wondered whether someday she might be able to smile like Azure--open, unguarded. She thought, someday, she might like to.
