"If you think you need push notifications in your web app, you don't" - @macdonst #jazzcon
I have this weird feeling that Jazz said "I love you" to Connie first. They were literally just snuggling in the back of his jeep when he hugged her tighter, and said so softly that if she hadn't of been paying attention, she would have missed it: "I'm lucky and I love you." Then he put his face into her shoulder, blushing. Connie was shocked, and didn't know what to say for a second. I mean, she thought that their love was a quiet thing: something mutually understand and never said. Never in a million years did she expect it. So, after collecting her thoughts, her eyes get glassy and she puts her arms around Jazz and kisses him. "I love you, too." And that's the story.
I think Jasper's experience at prom would be very surreal and he would get a bit teary eyed at seeing the girl he loves wearing a dress and looking like a vision. Most of the night would be Jasper telling her how beautiful she looks and how much he loves her. Ahhhhh and they slow dance and ahhh
Jasper isn't all that romantic but when he gets in the mood, he can be. Once, when Connie was feeling down, he bought the Wicked Soundtrack and walked to her window, threw pebbles and began to sing "As long as you're mine" to her and brought her a dozen roses
Are we going to ignore the fact that in the first IHK book Jazz bought Connie a dozen roses with a single, rare blue rose in the centre with a note saying: "you are my special rose" just because she was slightly annoyed with him? That child is a romantic. I'm telling you.
Connie is so pretty without makeup on and every February Jazz brings her valentines
Connie checks flushed red as she felt her boyfriend roll over in his sleep, his arms pinwheeling, the wide expanse of his back to her.
He was without a shirt so she could clearly see all of his tattoos. The first time she’d seen them was about a year ago, when she and Jazz were fooling around in the jeep and he had taken off a layer. Even then, her view of the tats had been muddled. Now though, the sunlight kissed his skin, and made each tattoo hug his flesh. They were weird, she had to admit and didn’t suit his personality. But they were a mark. A mark of the friendship he had with Howie. And so. They were critical.
Because she couldn’t help herself, she leaned over and ran her hand down his spine and kissed his back. He jumped awake and, after a second, smiled at her. He was so beautiful. Oh god. So beautiful.
