Opening Reception: Friday, January 13, 6:00 with music by the Don Linke Trialog jazz trio

Featuring the work of five photographers: Autumn Elizabeth Clark, Michael Lagerman, Angelica Rocha, Naomi Shersty, and Larry Tuckman. Also on display in our Small Wall gallery area, is the artwork of jazz guitarist Don Linke.

Photography is essentially capturing a moment of seeing. As the title of the exhibit indicates, it captures the light of that seeing into an image that communicates the artist's perspective. The five artists in this exhibition are from diverse artistic backgrounds. Not surprisingly, the work in this exhibition is a reflection of the different ways of seeing they bring to the photographic medium.

Aaron Kerr’s Dissonant Creatures returns to Milwaukee with their 7-piece group playing a mixed bag of musical genres by way of “conducted improvisation”. Always a treat!
