Prime Night presents: Make Your Mark (feat. Awon)
bring good hip hop back ! flow and bars
Make Your Mark: This song is about ambition.
Sometimes in life, we often tell ourselves that we're going to do something and/or commit to what we want to do in life only for us to not do it, and that mentality exists for several reasons: depression, lack of motivation, not enough time, etc.
In my case, it was all of the above. As someone who has always had a passion for music growing up, there were several instances in my life where I wasn't able to commit to my passion and pursue what I truly love.
All of that changed when my mother passed away a couple of years back from brain cancer. My mother was a hard worker. She was the type of person that worked a lot and never had enough time on her hands to do what she wants to do in life.
If there was one thing I've learned during my years of mental preparation for the worst case scenario to arrive, it was to live my life to the fullest without any regrets, and to finally pursue what I love, and "Make My Mark" on not just the industry, but to "Make My Mark" on peoples lives, in pursuit of making a positive difference on someones life through music. But that's just a very in-depth explanation of the themes of this song. Here is the short version:
Ambition doesn't always come within ourselves. Sometimes, it starts with the people in our lives who provide us with the ambition and the drive we need to carry on. Now I'm more emboldened than ever to make something of myself: To "Make My Mark".

„Waiting, but I like it“ is a song about the luxury of letting time pass and simply enjoying the break in a positive way.
Everyone knows the situation: you have to wait for some reason and there is a kind of forced break. This song is my positive view of this break, which you can also use positively for yourself.

„Waiting, but i like it“ is a slow tempo chilled song with laidback boombap drums, jazzhiphop piano and vibraphone lead by a 70s vibe synth and chilled flute. Enjoy the break

NAMO - VAGABOND | JAZZ HOP | BOOMBAP
🥃 There’s a softness to certain nights that feels impossible to explain unless you’ve lived through them yourself.
✨ Warm amber light reflecting across polished wood. Low jazz echoing quietly through the room. The world outside still moving too fast while everything inside slows to a gentler pace.
🌙 Maybe growing older isn’t about becoming harder.
Maybe it’s just learning how to sit peacefully inside your own thoughts for a while.
Moki Solen, Midnight Lo-Fi Touch Mon petit plaisir caché floats between smooth sax, gentle piano and relaxed hip-hop drums, creating a soft jazzy lo-fi atmosphere. A hidden vibe, coming soon to all platforms.
